Qashqai people care a lot about eating healthy and fresh food and try to prepare the best food for their guests and are famous for spreading colorful tables. The meat of animals (sheep and goats), which are mainly produced by the people of the tribe, has a unique quality by grazing in the meadows of the south and the highlands of Zagros. Of course, in the past, in addition to enjoying the meat of wild animals such as deer, whole (farm and wild sheep), mountain goats and birds such as partridge, dull yellow partridge, etc. the quality and taste of their food was given double value. The use of wild vegetables such as thyme, chamomile, oregano, chicory, cockle, etc. greatly increases the taste and aroma of Ili dishes. Of course, we should not forget about their dairies, which, by combining the aforementioned plants, produce unique and natural products such as yogurt, buttermilk, butter, cheese, oil, curd, curd, etc. from their own livestock. In addition, for desserts and appetizers, by combining dairy products, wild vegetables, and local fruits, they make a variety of jajoghs, pickles, and halwa.
