Safir Ardehal

Sedigh Safizadeh was born in 1943 in Zarrineh-ye Varmazyar village (Kurdistan province). He completed elementary school in Takab. He immigrated with his family to Iraq in 1956, and taught Arabic language and literature in Baghdad. He returned to his homeland after graduating of Baghdad University in 1964, and recruited a few years later.

Sedigh Safizadeh continued his studies in jurisprudence and commentary in a presence of Sheikh Mohammed Sheikh al-Islam, and achieved a degree in Ijtihad in Sunni jurisprudence. He also taught Kurdish language and literature at University of Tehran for a while, and acquainted with brilliant figures in field of ancient

Persian history and culture such as Ibrahim Poordavood and Bahram Farahvashi. He began researching on the grounds of ancient Iranian culture, ancient languages, and religious sects.
